Solana Highlands has a new Community Director. Olivia Connolly replaces long-time director Kimberly Duggan.

Olivia comes to Solana Beach after opening H.G. Fenton’s Solterra community in Scripps Ranch in 2013, which was the first apartment community in San Diego where residents could get all of their power from the sun and track their usage on their smartphones. (Learn more here.)

“Kimberly was so involved in the local community,” said Olivia. “I’m looking forward to meeting our residents and neighbors as well as contributing to local causes and organizations here.”Olivia Connolly cropped

Olivia has worked for H.G. Fenton for the past eight years and attended the March 2014 community meetings to help answer neighbor questions about H.G. Fenton’s sustainability practices. She knows how tightly knit the Solana Beach community is and looks forward to applying her passion for the environment here.

“I’m excited to work with our Solana Highlands residents and do my part to help create lifestyle opportunities for them to flourish,” said Connolly. “I’ve learned a lot about reducing the environmental footprint of residents while at Solterra and I’ll put as many of those ideas in practice here that I can.”
